GREENSBORO, N.C.- Greensboro College kept its perfect Dixie Conference record intact Saturday afternoon with a 20-5 victory over visiting Shenandoah.

Greensboro (7-1, 2-0) jumped out to a 14-3 halftime lead by scoring six out of the first eight goals of the game.

Shenandoah (1-3, 1-1) came back in the second half on two goals by junior Sharon Sparwasser (Baltimore, Md./Kenwood) and one from freshman Joia Davis (Trenton, N.J./Stuart County), but it was not enough against the two-time defending Dixie champion Lady Pride.

Sparwasser led SU with three goals while Davis had two and an assist.

Lorin Smith and Rebecca Beninghove both had four goals for GC.
