FREDERICK, Md. - Four different women's lacrosse players scored at least five points Friday afternoon to help the Hornets to a 22-1 non-league blowout of Hood College.
Shenandoah (2-3) jumped all over the host Blazers (2-2); SU scored the first five goals of the game and led 16-1 by the half.
Senior Christine LaTouche (Elkton, Va./Spotswood) had a game high seven points on five goals and two assists, while freshman Joia Davis (Trenton, N.J./Stuart County) added five goals and an assist.
The attack was potent for SU; in addition to LaTouche's five goals, Sharon Sparwasser (Baltimore, Md./Kenwood) match Davis' output and Aicha Lahlou had five points on four goals and an assist.
