Creamer Gets Second Win over Ranked Opponent

WINCHESTER, Va. - Junior JR Creamer (Lovettesville, Va./Loudoun Valley) got his second win over a ranked opponent in five days Sunday afternoon as he and his Shenandoah Hornet teammates knocked off No. 2 Methodist College 10-6.

Creamer, who earned the win Wednesday night with the Hornets 11-8 victory over Christopher Newport, scattered five runs on seven hits and four walks against five strikeouts Sunday afternoon to give his club the upset victory. The win improves his record to 3-2.

Shenandoah (8-16-1, 3-7) got the victory on the strength of four runs in the first and one more in the second. SU then answered a two-run Methodist rally in the fifth with four of its own in the bottom of the frame.

Rodney Wooden (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn), Mike Arvizo (Palmdale, Calif./Antelope Valley), JJ Rosati (Palmdale, Calif./Long Beach State) and Joe Harpine (Fredericksburg, Va./North Stafford) all had two hits for the Hornets while Mike Christoforo (Arlington, Mass./Arlington), Josh Bosley (Oakland, Md./Garrett County CC) and Arvizo drove in two runs each.
