FREDERICK, Md. - The Shenandoah University women's lacrosse team got its second straight blowout victory Wednesday afternoon with a 26-6 win at Hood College.

Joia Davis in the game's first three minutes and never looked back against the Blazers (2-1).
After Hood answered with a Cheryl Banks unassisted goal at the 27:01 mark, SU scored four straight to take a 7-1 lead by the time was 10 minutes old.
Coach Lois Bowers' team led 15-4 by halftime and opened the second half by scoring eight unanswered goals. Seven different women scored goals during this run; only 2nd homeÂ
Melissa Bryant tallied more than once.
Davis led all scorers with 10 points on five goals and a school record tying five assists while Bryant andÂ
Erika Bradd each had six goals and two assists for eight points. Eight players scored at least one goal and every woman who scored registered at least two points.
