DANVILLE, Va. - No. 6 Shenandoah University eliminated seventh seeded Averett University from the 2005 USA South Conference baseball tournament Thursday afternoon with a 1-0 victory.

Sasse allowed just the five hits, all singles, to improve to 4-4 on the season. He allowed no hits after the sixth inning and retired the final 10 batters in order.
