BUENA VISTA, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's soccer team scored the first three goals of the game Saturday afternoon and cruised to a 4-1 non-league victory over NAIA Southern Virginia.

Shenandoah (3-2) got an Alfred Smith goal just 1:55 into the game and never looked back against the Knights (3-5).

Smith hit a one-touch volley off of a William Phouminh service to give the Hornets the early lead. Nine minutes later, freshman Fabian Rowe got what proved to be the game-winning goal.

Senior Mihailo Prelevic played the ball across the 18-yard box, where Rowe was able to run onto it and finish from 10-yards out.

Prelevic added an unassisted goal in the 16th minute before junior Chad Blizzard closed out the game's scoring with a tally off of a Mohamed Toure assist in the 74th minute.

Southern Virginia's goal came three minutes into the second half on a penalty kick.
