GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Shenandoah University baseball got back on the winning track Monday afternoon with a 7-5 non-league win at Guilford College.
SU (12-4) won for the third time in four meetings against Old Dominion Athletic Conference schools with the road win at Guilford (9-6).Â
After the Quakers took a 4-0 lead with two runs in the first and two more in the fourth, Shenandoah seized the lead with one run in the sixth and four in the seventh.

David Jenkins drove in what proved to be game-winning runs with two outs in the seventh when he smacked a two-run home run to left center. This home run, his first of the year, snapped a 4-4 tie.
Jenkins' dinger was one of three that the Hornets hit on the day - rightfielderÂ
Scott Lambert plated the first two runs of the seventh with his first career four-bagger while catcherÂ
Steven Todd scored the squad's penultimate run with a leadoff shot in the eighth.

Drew Dobbins improved to 2-0 on the spring by striking out four in 6 1/3 innings of action. GC touched him for 11 hits and four runs, although only one was earned.
SeniorÂ
Nick Sborz earned his second save of the year by recording the final five outs of the contest, including one via a strikeout.
