CARLISLE, Pa. - Shenandoah University used a fast start to its non-league baseball game at Dickinson College Wednesday and cruised to a 10-2 victory.
The Hornets (18-9) scored three runs in the first, two in the second and three more in the third to take a commanding lead over the Red Devils (7-11-1).

Nick Sborz, each tossed an inning of relief to complete the victory. Burgess allowed the two runs on two hits during his seventh inning appearance.
Shenandoah got the winning runs in the first when they scored three runs on four hits. FreshmanÂ
Scott Lambert drove in what proved to be the game-winning run with a double that plated juniorÂ
Ryan Anderson. Anderson had reached on an RBI single that drove inÂ
Daniel Ziccardy.
Ziccardy finished 3-for-5 with three RBI withÂ
David Jenkins and Anderson also getting three hits.
Zach Pollack took the loss after allowing eight runs (seven earned) on 12 hits in 2 1/3.
