CARLISLE, Pa. - Shenandoah University used a fast start to its non-league baseball game at Dickinson College Wednesday and cruised to a 10-2 victory.

The Hornets (18-9) scored three runs in the first, two in the second and three more in the third to take a commanding lead over the Red Devils (7-11-1).

Freshman Rhys Wolford (3-2) gave up just two hits over six innings to earn the victory. Three relievers: Jason Burgess, Hunter Calloway and Nick Sborz, each tossed an inning of relief to complete the victory. Burgess allowed the two runs on two hits during his seventh inning appearance.
