HARRISONBURG, Va. - Shenandoah University put the finishing touches on a baseball season sweep over Eastern Mennonite Thursday afternoon with a 20-11 non-league victory.
Shenandoah (19-9) took an 11-2 lead into the bottom of the second inning after scoring four runs in the first and seven more in the second against EMU (4-19).

Matt McCormick all drove in runs. McCormick capped the frame with his two-run home run that also scored Duckett.

Matthew Davis earned the victory after throwing six innings and giving up seven runs (four earned) on 10 hits and four walks. He also struck out seven on his way to improving to 4-2 on the spring.
Anderson finished his day 4-for-5 with seven RBI on two doubles and his first home run of the season. He hit a three-run blast in the fifth inning to give SU a 15-4 lead.
Shenandoah had 15 hits and 19 RBI on the day - eight of the nine starters scored at least one run.
