WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Sweet Briar earned a split of its season volleyball series with Shenandoah Thursday night by taking a 3-2 non-league victory.
The Vixens (2-16) answered the Hornets 3-0 September 9 sweep with a 30-19, 9-30, 30-17, 31-33, 15-13 victory at Shingleton Gymnasium.
The loss is the seventh straight for SU (6-12).

Michelle Chandler led the Hornets with a triple-double - she had 15 digs to go along with team-highs in kills, 16, and assists, 25.
ClassmateÂ
Jennifer Thompson also posted a triple-double, her sixth of the year, with 11 kills, 16 assists and 21 digs.
Cassidy Jones had a match-high 20 kills for SBC.
