WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University ran its men's basketball winning streak to four games Monday night with a 76-70 non-league victory over Otterbein College.
SU (4-1) broke open a close game by holding OC (0-4) scoreless for the first 8:07 of the second half.

Onyie Onunaku canned a buzzer-beating three-pointer at the end of the first, the Hornets scored the first 14 points of the second to hold a 48-30 just before the 12-minute mark.
The Cardinals saw this deficit eventually grow to 20 points following an Onunaku jumper with 8:17 to play, but they refused to fold.
Trailing by those same 20 points with 4:20 remaining, Otterbein scored 13 of the game's next 15 points to cut the deficit into single digits for the first time since early in the stanza.
Shenandoah eventually pushed its advantage out to 12 with five free throws in the next 89 seconds, but a quick 7-0 Cardinal run made things interesting in the waning moments. Leading by five with three seconds left, SU successfully inbounded the ball in the backcourt and then got one of two free throws to seal the victory.

Jeremiah Lawrence paced all scorers with 23 points while Onunaku added 17 andÂ
Stevie Johns 11. Lawrence and Onunaku both had double-doubles with 15 and 10 rebounds, respectively.
Ross Banaszak led four OC players in double figures with 15 points. Otterbein had 11 three-pointer among its 25 field goals and made six steals.
Shenandoah shot 27 of 64 (42.2 percent) from the field and held a 45-36 advantage on the glass.
