WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University put the finishing touches on a perfect weekend Sunday with an 83-57 USA South Conference victory over Peace College.
The victory is the second straight for the Hornets (13-7, 6-4 USA South) and assures the squad of the program's first winning season since the 1999-2000 campaign. It also gives SU the season sweep over Peace (7-13, 1-9).Â

Cassie Womack combined for 42 points and 36 rebounds with Harrold and Hargbol each registering a double-double.
SU scored 34 of its points in the paint with Sanders hitting four three-pointers among her game-high 22 points to keep PC from sagging inside.
The 83 points represents the fifth time in 10 conference games that Shenandoah has cracked the 80-point barrier. CoachÂ
Michelle Guyant-Holloway's club had 73 points with 5:34 remaining when the first year coach emptied her bench to close out the contest.
The Hornets lead eventually reached 32 points before the Pacers ended the game on a 10-4 run.
In addition to Sanders' 22 points in 28 minutes of action, Hargbol had 18 with 11 rebounds and Harrold 17 and 10. Womack continued her march toward the USA South Conference rebounding record with 15 as the hosts owned a 54-33 advantage on the glass. For the second straight game, all nine healthy players in uniform scored at least one point.
Christy Freeman led Peace with 13 points. They shot 20 for 59 from the field for the game (33.9 percent) struggled to a 3 for 18 performance from behind the arc.
