Shenandoah University women's basketball player Addisyn Banks has earned D3hoops.com All-Region VI First Team, as announced by the organization on Monday.

Banks led the Hornets in scoring with 18.1 points per game, while also averaging 8.1 rebounds per game and 3.6 assists per game. The junior led the team in steals, averaging 2.3 per game.

The Nokesville, Virginia, native played in all 28 games for the Hornets, with 27 starts, helping the team earn an at-large bid into the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.

The guard hit double-digits in points in 26 of her 28 games, with nine games with at least 20 points. Her season-high came at Roanoke on February 14 with a 32-point performance.

Banks notched nine double-doubles this season, with a season-high 14 rebounds twice this year. The first 14 rebound game was against Randolph-Macon back in January, with the second coming in the season finale against Trine in the NCAA Tournament.

The junior was second in the ODAC in scoring, seventh in rebounding, fourth in three-point field goal percentage, third in assists, sixth in steals, and sixth in minutes played. The rankings in the league helped Banks earn All-ODAC first team last month. Banks also earned four ODAC Player of the Week awards this year with three defensive nods and one on the offensive side of the ball.

Banks is the second Hornet in the last two seasons to earn All-Region First Team, joining Terese Greene, who got it for the 2024-25 season. The duo are the only two in the history of the program to earn the honor from D3hoops.com

Banks, along with the other All-Region honorees, are now eligible for the organization's All-America teams, which are scheduled to be announced within the coming week.
