Torie Eggers Joins Women's Basketball Staff as Full-Time Assistant

WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University head women's basketball coach Melissa Smeltzer-Kraft has announced the addition of Torie Eggers as the team's next full-time assistant coach.

Eggers, a 2020 graduate of NCAA Division II Nyack College (now Alliance University), comes to Shenandoah after serving as an assistant coach at Rowan University since 2023. In the three years at Rowan, Eggers helped the team to a 45-33 record with three trips to the NJAC conference tournament. In addition to the three conference tournament appearances, the team had five all-conference players during Eggers time as a Prof.

Prior to joining Rowan's staff, Eggers spent time at the high school level, first as head freshman women's basketball coach at Washington Township High School in Sewell, New Jersey, and then as assistant varsity coach at Gloucester Catholic High School in Gloucester City, New Jersey.

During her time as a student-athlete at Nyack, Eggers played women's basketball, women's lacrosse, and track and field.
