GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Shenandoah University bounced back from an opening defeat to split a non-league doubleheader with Villa Julie College Tuesday night.
Villa Julie (17-10) was an 8-0 winner in the opener before Shenandoah (21-13) took the nightcap 15-8.
The Hornets banged out 11 hits in game two while also benefiting from eight Mustangs errors. Those eight miscues led to seven unearned runs, including three of the five runs Shenandoah scored in the second inning.

Daniel Bowers. Bowers got the final out of the fifth before giving up just one hit the rest of the way.
In game one, Wade Keenan scattered six hits and struck out nine in the shutout victory for the hosts. SeniorÂ
