WASHINGTON, D.C. - Homestanding Catholic University shut out Shenandoah University 9-0 in non-conference men's tennis action Monday afternoon.
The Cardinals (8-3) swept the three doubles matches before winning five of six singles contests in straight sets over the Hornets (5-6).
The closest match came at No. 1 doubles, where Michael Milanov and Dustan DeMello fell 9-8 (7-2).
Milanov also had the closest singles match, losing 3-6, 6-4, 11-13 to Bernardo Nogales at No. 1.
Shenandoah hosts Ferrum on Wednesday in a USA South Conference contest.
