CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Former Shenandoah wide receiver Rico Wallace '12 opens rookie mini-camp with the Carolina Panthers today.

Wallace, who was signed as an undrafted free agent (UFA) on April 29, reports to the weekend camp at noon today.

Approximately 50 players, including all seven draft picks and 12 UFAs, will participate in the camp along with Wallace. 

Wallace led the Hornets last fall with 67 receptions for 1241 yards and 14 touchdowns on his way to being named All-America by two different organizations.

He is the career leader in every major statistical receiving category.
