LEXINGTON, Va. - No. 23 Washington and Lee kept Shenandoah University from earning its first-ever ODAC men's tennis victory with an 8-1 win Saturday morning.

The Generals (10-3, 8-0 ODAC) took a 3-0 lead following the doubles and then won the five contested singles matches in straight sets over SU (3-6, 0-5).

Freshman Jeremy Parel saved the Hornets from a shutout with a 1-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-6) victory over Brian Krouskos at No. 3.

Tomorrow's match with Lynchburg has been postponed due to the poor weather forecast for the northern Shenandoah Valley. SU is back on the courts next Saturday against Hampden-Sydney.
