BRIDGEWATER, Va. – Regionally ranked Bridgewater College kept Shenandoah University from earning its first ODAC men's tennis victory with a 9-0 win over the Hornets Tuesday afternoon.

The No. 17 in the South Atlantic Region Eagles (7-7, 3-1 ODAC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead over SU (2-6, 0-5) by sandwiching 8-4 victories at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles around an 8-1 win at No. 2.

BC then clinched the triumph with straight set wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles.

All six singles matches went in straight sets.

Steven Baker had the closest match, falling 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1.

Shenandoah hosts Virginia Wesleyan on Thursday in another ODAC match.
