WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Randolph-Macon continued its winning ways in men's tennis with a 9-0 ODAC victory over Shenandoah Saturday afternoon.
Macon (9-6, 5-2 ODAC) swept the doubles, dropping just three games combined in the Nos. 2 and 3 matches to take a 3-0 lead into singles.
Steven Baker and Kelly Sykes had a close match at No. 1 for SU (3-9, 1-9), falling 8-5 to Ryan Byrd and Michael Baxter.
The six singles matches all went in straight sets.
Sykes again had the closest match, losing 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5 to Tom Lewis.
Shenandoah is back in action on Sunday with an ODAC match versus Roanoke.
