'Cats Rally Past Men's Tennis

LYNCHBURG, Va. - Host Randolph College swept the bottom five singles matches on its way to a 6-3 ODAC men's tennis victory over Shenandoah Saturday afternoon.

Shenandoah (2-7, 0-6 ODAC) had taken a 2-1 lead following the doubles thanks to victories at Nos. 1 and 2, but could not hold on against Randolph (6-7, 3-4).

The WildCats dropped just the No. 1 singles match, seeing Steven Baker won 6-3, 6-3 for SU in that spot, to rally for the victory.

Randolph clinched the victory with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles.

Baker combined with Kelly Sykes to win at No. 1 doubles with Will Leach and Zach O'Neal winning at No. 2.

Shenandoah is back in action tomorrow afternoon with a noon match at Lynchburg.
