WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team struggled to find momentum on Saturday in an 8-1 ODAC loss to Guilford.

Steven Baker picked up the only win of the day fo the Hornets (1-4, 0-1 ODAC), knocking off Erik Meiler 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (11-9) at No. 1 singles. 

Guilford (1-6, 1-3) won four of the remaining five singles matches in straight sets. GC won the top two doubles matches 8-4 and was a winner at love at No. 3.

SU hosts perennial ODAC power Washington & Lee on Tuesday.
