WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Virginia Wesleyan completed a perfect ODAC men's tennis season by sweeping Shenandoah University 9-0 Saturday afternoon.

The Marlins (10-5, 10-0 ODAC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead following the doubles portion of the match by winning Nos. 2 and 3 doubles at love.

A 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles and a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 2 gave VWC the victory over Shenandoah (4-12, 2-8).

Senior Steven Baker, who was honored prior to the match along with classmate Zach O'Neal, had the closest singles match. Baker fell 7-5, 6-3 to Graham Wilson at No. 1.

Shenandoah will now await the announcement of a possible ODAC Tournament berth.
