ASHLAND, Va. - Host Randolph-Macon continued its strong ODAC season with a 9-0 men's tennis victory over Shenandoah Sunday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets (5-4, 3-1 ODAC) won the nine matches in straight sets over Shenandoah (1-7, 0-5).
R-MC dropped just three games in sweeping the three doubles matches and then swept SU in singles.
The closes matches came at Nos. 1 and 2 singles, where Matt Hwang and Zach Frack each forced a set tiebreaker.
Hwang's tiebreak came in the first, where he fell 7-6 (7-4), 6-0 to Jacob Haines.
Frack had his tiebreaker in the second, losing 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) to Baxter Carter.
The men are off until traveling to Emory and Henry on Saturday for a 1 p.m. ODAC match.
