FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team continued its play Saturday at the ITA Southeast Regionals hosted by the University of Mary Washington.
The Hornets had three doubles matches this morning, two in the B2 flight and one in the championship flight.
Matt Hwang and Brett Dubin fell 8-1 in that championship flight match, dropping the contest to Tommy Cheng and Kailas Shekar from Carnegie Mellon.
In the B2 flight, Darian Diaz and Zach Frack as well as Kyler Apgar and Bryan Harris were in action with both duos falling by an 8-5 score.
Diaz and Frack played a Womden Ly and Raymond McDermott from Stevenson while Apgar and Harris took on Jose Bolanos and Nicholas Reese from Dickinson.
Evan Rosenberg, the only singles player in action Saturday, fell 6-1, 6-0 to Shawn Diniz from Dickinson in a 3 p.m. match.
On Sunday, Hwang/Dubin, Diaz/Frack and Apgar/Harris, as well as both Hwang and Rosenberg in singles, have consolation matches scheduled.
