WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team earned its second ODAC victory of the weekend with a 9-0 shutout over Emory and Henry Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (5-2, 2-2 ODAC) dropped just two doubles matches in running out to the big lead over Emory and Henry (1-8, 0-4).
Needing just two wins to clinch, SU did just that in the top two singles matches. Matt Hwang and Brett Dubin won by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores with Dubin's win at No. 2 clinching the victory.
Darian Diaz, Zach Frack, Evan Rosenberg and Bryan Harris all won in straight sets (Harris at love) to complete the shutout victory.
The Hornets host perennial power Washington and Lee on Tuesday in a 4 p.m. ODAC match.
