LYNCHBURG, Va. – Host Lynchburg College swept the singles on its way to an 8-1 ODAC men's tennis victory over Shenandoah University Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (6-6, 2-5 ODAC) trailed just 2-1 after doubles thanks to an 8-4 win from Kyler Apgar and Evan Rosenberg at No. 3, but Lynchburg (7-9, 3-5) had other ideas.
LC swept the singles, winning all but No. 4 in straight sets.
At No. 4, Bryan Harris rebounded from a 6-1 loss in the opening set to win at love in the second. He then dropped the tiebreaker 10-5.
The men continue this road trip with a 1 p.m. match Sunday at Randolph.
