LEXINGTON, Va. - Host Washington and Lee kept its ODAC men's tennis record perfect on the season by topping Shenandoah University 9-0 Tuesday evening.
Playing indoors at the Duchossois Tennis Center, the Generals (8-3, 8-0 ODAC) swept the three doubles matches and the top four singles matches to secure the victory over Shenandoah (5-3, 2-3).
W&L then completed the shutout with wins at love in the Nos. 5 and 6 singles matches.
A 6-1, 6-1 Thomas Harmon win over Darian Diaz at No. 3 singles was the match-clinching victory for hosts.
Brett Dubin was involved in the closest two matches of the night. He and Evan Rosenberg dropped an 8-4 decision at No. 3 doubles before Dubin fell 6-3, 6-1 to Zack Ely at No. 2 singles.
SU continues this road trip on Thursday with a 2 p.m. non-league match at Ferrum.
