WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team recorded its second shutout in the past three matches with a 9-0 non-league victory over Ferrum College Thursday afternoon.
The Hornets (6-3) dropped just seven total games in singles and five in doubles in completing the shutout over Ferrum (0-14).
Kyler Apgar had the match-clinching victory with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Thomas Wallace at No. 6 singles.
Apgar, Matt Hwang, Darian Diaz, Zack Frack, Bryan Harris and Evan Rosenberg were all double winners for SU.
Shenandoah is back in action on Thursday at Bridgewater. Saturday's previously scheduled match with Guilford has been postponed because of the expected snowstorm.
