WINCHESTER, Va. -Â The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Thursday that it is again inviting all of its fans to a weekly breakfast with Head Football Coach
Scott Yoder.
Yoder and his Hornets open the 2019 campaign this Saturday at noon in a non-league contest at N.C. Wesleyan.
Friday morning at 8 a.m. in the Clement Dining Room of Allen Dining Hall, Yoder will host the first of 10 breakfast meetings with interested fans to talk about that week's matchup.
In addition to Yoder, the assistant coaches will be in attendance at the weekly event.
Yoder announced that seniors
Casey Stewart and
Randy Oliver have been selected as co-captains of the 2019 team and both men will attend the breakfast as their class schedules allow.
"Corey and Randy are excellent leaders who have earned the trust of their teammates," Yoder said. "I am happy to have them lead the team and have them interact with the community through our weekly breakfasts.
"This is our fifth year of holding a weekly breakfast and I am always impressed with the loyalty that our fans show by attending. I would like to invite everyone to come out and join us each Friday."
These breakfast meetings are scheduled for each Friday from September 13 through November 15 with the exception the November 8 bye week.
The cost for the breakfast, served buffet style in Allen Dining Hall, is $5.00.

- Each Friday preceding a game
- 8-9 a.m.
- Clement Dining Room, Allen Dining Hall
- $5 per individual (SU faculty/staff breakfast rate will apply for those individuals)
