WINCHESTER, Va.- The Shenandoah University men's soccer team defeated Wilson College 6-0 at home in a non-conference match Saturday afternoon.
Shenandoah (5-2) had six different scorers in its win over Wilson College (0-4).
The Hornets scored five goals in the first half with a penalty kick from
Jack Meixner being the lone goal scored of the second half.

SU didn't wait long to take command with four goals in the opening 20 minutes of play.
Maynor Menendez opened the scoring by heading home a
Niclas Vavra cross.
With just five minutes to go in the first half, senior
Pedro Flor scored his first goal of the season after rebounding a
Braden Gallant shot off the cross bar.
SU used all three active goalkeepers in the game. Starting goalie
Dylan Johnson played the entire first half with
Collin Ennis and
Nathan Lynch splitting duties in the final 45 minutes of play.
The Phoenix were held to just one shot while the Hornets had 26 shots on the day. SU earned 10 corner kicks to two for WC.

Zack MacDougall. "This was a good opportunity to get everyone involved and have different players and combinations get involved throughout the course of the game to prepare us for league play."
