STAUNTON, Va. – Host Mary Baldwin scored three first half goals on its way to a 3-0 non-league men's soccer victory over Shenandoah University Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Squirrels (2-4-1) scored in the 30^th, 35^th, and 44^th minutes to dispatch the Hornets (5-3).

Shenandoah came into the game on a four-match winning streak, but Mary Baldwin had other ideas as the opened up the scoring at 29:35.
 
The Squirrels got an insurance goal at 34:14 before Kyle Creamer hit a rocket from 35 yards out into the upper left corner of the net at 43:10 for what proved to be the final goal of the contest.
 
SU had four of its nine shots over the final 45 minutes of play.
 
Hornets goalkeeper Nathan Lynch, who came on in relief of starter Dylan Johnson after Johnson was injured in the fourth minute, made the first two saves of his collegiate career.
 
Lynch played the final 86:28 of the contest.
 
Coach Zack MacDougall's side had a 7-2 advantage in corners.
