García Molina and Combs Advance to Semis Before Falling

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – A pair of Shenandoah University women's tennis players saw their respective runs at the ITA Southeast Regional come to an end Sunday afternoon.

Graduate transfer Natalia García Molina was eliminated in the main draw singles with a loss in the round of 16 while she and Jahveesha Combs lost in the semi-finals of the main doubles draw.

IN BRIEF
In singles, Washington & Lee's Margaret Carlton, who García Molina and Combs had beaten on Saturday in doubles, took out García Molina with a 6-4, 6-0 victory.

García Molina and Combs continued their doubles run Sunday morning with an 8-7 (7-3) win over Evelyn Chang and Anjali Deviready from Johns Hopkins in the quarterfinals.
