FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – A pair of Shenandoah University women's tennis players had an outstanding day one Saturday at the ITA Southeast Regional.

Natalia García Molina and junior 
Jahveesha Combs have advanced to the main draw quarterfinals in doubles thanks to a pair of wins Saturday while Garcia Molina remains alive in the main draw of the singles.
 
IN BRIEF
García Molina and Combs opened with an 8-1 win over Torrienne Emery and Jacquelyn Nesbeth from Stevenson before taking out Washington & Lee's Taylor Garcia and Margaret Carlton, 8-2, in the round of 16.
 
In singles, García Molina defeated Swarthmore's Oviya Kumaran, 6-1, 3-6, 6-1, in the round of 64 and Maria Cristina Diaz-Nazario, 6-1, 6-1, from Washington College in the round of 32.
 
García Molina faces Carlton in the Sweet 16 Sunday morning.
 
Combs fell, 6-2, 7-6 (3), to Allison Wandling from Sweet Briar in the opening round.
