WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Guilford College completed a season sweep of Shenandoah University with a 70-49 ODAC men's basketball win Saturday afternoon at the James R. Wilkins, Jr. Athletics & Events Center.

Guilford (13-5, 9-2 ODAC) took control with a 21-4 run midway through the first half versus Shenandoah (3-18, 2-10).

Another Guilford run, this one 11-2, pushed the visitors lead out to 15 points with 2:04 remaining in the opening stanza. GC led by 14, 37-23, at the break.

The Quakers maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half with SU getting no closer than 11 points.

Jaylen Williams, the ODAC's leader, paced the hosts with 18 points and McNeill added 10.

The Quakers shot 47 percent (27-of-57) to 38 percent (18-of-48) for Shenandoah and also had a 40-27 advantage on the glass. This led to Guilford scoring 13 of the game's 18 second chance points.
