ITHACA, N.Y. – The Shenandoah University men's and women's indoor track & field teams had a total of 12 top 10 finishes Saturday at the Bomber Invitational hosted by Ithaca College.

The men and women split those finishes equally with each gender recording six.
Wyatt Schannauer had the top finish with a win in the shot put.

IN BRIEF
Schannauer bested a 27-man field with a school record 15.02 meter toss. Schannauer uncorked the new personal best on his sixth and final throw of the afternoon.

Tucker Kindig was sixth in the event at 13.31 meters. He was third in the weight throw with a toss of 15.66 meters.

Kaitlin Measell and
Madison Gray shared top honors for the women with a pair of third place showings.
Â
Gray had hers with a school record 1:00.65 in the 400 meters with Measell posting a 5.23 meter long jump for her third place finish.

William Crowder had the final top three by recording a 6.96 seconds in the 60 meter dash.

The men had their remaining top 10s in the 200 meters, 4 x 200 relay, and long jump. The women's top 10s came in the 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 meter relays, the high jump, and shot put.

Both 4 x 200 meter relays posted school records for the event.Â

The squads are back in action Friday and Saturday in Lexington for the VMI Winter Classic.
