WINCHESTER, Va. – Visiting Virginia Wesleyan was strong from top to bottom Saturday in a 9-0 ODAC men's tennis victory over Shenandoah.
The Marlins (5-4, 2-0 ODAC) won two of the three doubles matches 8-1 before sweeping the singles matches versus Shenandoah (2-6, 1-3).

Gene Perle-Jones had the closest doubles match, falling 8-5 at No. 1 to Mitchell Perry and Felix Bevc.
Orr also had the closest singles match, dropping his contest at No. 1 to Bevc, 6-4, 6-4.
Virginia Wesleyan won a pair of matches at love, including the match-clinching victory at No. 6.
UP NEXT
With Sunday's previously scheduled ODAC match versus Roanoke postponed because of the poor weather conditions predicted, Shenandoah is now off until hosting Daemen (N.Y.) on Thursday in a 3 p.m. non-league match.
