WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's tennis team completed its regular season Saturday with a 6-3 ODAC victory over Randolph College.
Shenandoah (4-10, 3-6 ODAC) had to win just three matches on the court as Randolph (5-11, 1-5) forfeited at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
IN BRIEF
The Hornets got themselves more than halfway to the victory by sweeping the doubles. At both Nos. 1 and 2, SU was an 8-4 winner.
Now needing just one more on-court win, Aiden Steinly came through at No. 4 with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Colby Cook.
Brenton Baugh, playing No. 5, then gave the hosts another victory with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph over Jose Merhej.
Keith Orr and
Gene Perle-Jones combined for the win at No. 1 doubles with Steinly and
Lance Dupuis teaming up at No. 2.

Today's match completes the Hornets regular season. Pairings for the ODAC Tournament will be announced next week.
