WINCHESTER, Va. – No. 21 Shenandoah University concluded its home regular season slate Wednesday afternoon with a 7-5 non-league loss to Penn St. – Harrisburg.
Playing on Senior Day with five players making their first start of the season, Shenandoah (27-10-1) saw the Lions (23-14) take a lead they would not relinquish with three runs in the third.

SU led 2-0 after scoring a pair of runs on two hits in the first before giving one back in the second and then seeing PSU-H put up the three-spot in the third on just one hit.
All of the damage came with two outs as Shenandoah walked four consecutive batters before the Lions got a two-run single to make the score 4-2.
The two teams traded single runs in the fourth, and after PSU-H scored once in the top of the sixth, the Hornets cut the deficit to one, 6-5, on a
Ryan Clawson two-run double in the bottom of the frame.
The visitors got back some breathing room in the seventh with a run on two hits.
In the ninth, Clawson led off with a single to center but was left stranded as the Lions got out of it with a pop out and two strikeouts.
Henry Delavergne had three of the hosts nine hits with Clawson adding two.
Luke Radazewski (0-1) took the loss. The third of 10 pitchers, Radazewski gave up three runs on four walks in 2/3 of an inning.
