SU defeated the Tigers, 6-2, Sunday and 4-1 on Monday to eliminate H-SC from the tournament for the fourth straight year.

For the championship tournament, BC becomes the third-seed as previous No. 3 Randolph-Macon, along with original No. 4 W&L, were both upset in the best-of-three round.

Shenandoah enters championship weekend as the league's top remaining hitting team with a .316 average. The Hornets are six points better than the other set of ODAC Hornets, the University of Lynchburg. Roanoke is third among the final four squads at .309 with Bridgewater hitting .296.

In ODAC Tournament play, the two programs met in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 tournaments with SU winning three of five games. Bridgewater's two wins came on Championship Sunday of the 2014 tourney.
