WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University baseball program announced its 2024 leadership team as announced by head coach Kevin Anderson on Wednesday morning.

This year's captains consist of shortstop Frankie Ritter, outfielder Gavin Horning, and starting pitcher Jacob Bell. Ritter is now a three-time team captain and this is Horning's second season in this leadership role.

The class representatives are as follows:
First-Year: Nick Bell, Blaine Griffin, and Samuel Vandrey
Sophomores: Luke Keister and Jaime Padilla
Juniors: Grady Dillon and Brian Ferreira
Seniors: Andrew Falk and Jeremy Kwolek
Post Graduates: Pearce Bucher and Haden Madagan

The captains and eight of the class representatives helped the program to a regional championship last season in their 42-win campaign.

Over the last seven seasons, Shenandoah has led all Division III teams in wins with 231. Off the field, the team has registered over 1000 volunteer hours with over 40 organizations across the past several seasons.

The Hornets begin their season on February 10th in a home non-conference doubleheader versus Widener.
