Men's Basketball Hits 10 Wins for First Time in a Decade

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Shenandoah University men's basketball team earned its 10th consecutive win with a 76-65 win in the first-ever meeting with Arcadia University.

The Hornets (10-0) used a double-digit lead at the half to propel them to the victory over the Knights (5-4). This marks the first 10-win season for SU since the 2013-14 season.

RECAP
Shenandoah picked up a huge three from Samuel Dailey to get a 9-7 lead with 14:19 left in the first. After the Knights regained the lead, SU went back to the three-point shot as Richard Rogers hit a basket from deep to put his team up, 12-11.

Arcadia would only hold the lead one more time as Shenandoah began to pull ahead in the final 10 minutes of the first. Over a three minute span the Hornets went on a 9-0 run as Joshua Stephen made the final seven points of the run.

Binwi Bihai helped Shenandoah take an 11-point lead into the locker room as he scored six points across the final 3:30 of the first.

Each team scored 44 points in the high-scoring second half. Arcadia cut its deficit down to single-digits before Nic Pullum got the lead back to 10 for Shenandoah, as the center made a layup and converted on a free throw to cap off the and-one play.

Pullum was the leading scorer for Shenandoah with 15 points. Davion Roberts and Stephen contributed 14 points each to the Hornets' total.

First-year Joseph Baldwin almost had a double-double as he scored eight points and brought down 11 rebounds, the latter being a game-high.

The Hornets made 27 free throws in the game, 10 more than the opposition made.

Shenandoah has a week off before returning to action at home against Guilford College on December 19th.
