SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Shenandoah University men's and women's indoor track & field teams had a combined four wins Friday night at the RiverHawk Friday Showdown hosted by Susquehanna University.

The SU men had three of those four wins with the sprinters again dominating the competition.

MEN'S RECAP
William Crowder,
Miles Moore, and
Tucker Kindig continued their winning ways with victories in the 60 meters, 200 meters, and weight throw, respectively.

Moore, who won the 200 with a 22.41, was second to Crowder in the 60. Crowder posted a 6.92 to a 6.96 for Moore with
Andre Jackson fourth at 7.07.

Jackson was also third in the 200.
Â
Kindig had an 18.77 meter weight throw to continue his strong indoor season and beat a 29-man field.

Elias McGhie was the runner-up in both the 400 and the mile,
Reed Davis,
Noah Hurd, and
Ethan Harrower went 3-4-5 in the 3000 meters, and Donnell Jones was the runner-up in the triple jump.

The men also had two fifth place finishers –
Elijah West in the long jump and Kindig in the shot put.

WOMEN'S RECAP
Junior
Kaitlin Measell posted the women's victory, leaping a program-record 5.52 meters to set a new program mark in the long jump and best the 16-woman competition. Measell's jump is also nineteenth-best in the nation this season.

Measell capped her evening with a runner-up in the 200 meters. She had a 27.17 in that event.

Sarah Sidoro and
Haley Van Voorhis went 3-5 in the 400,
Erin Atkinson was fifth in the mile and sixth in the 800, and
Allie Clarkson,
Makenna Thrush, and
Sarah Christy went 3-5-6 in the 3000.

The final top five finishes came in the weight throw, with
Kiara Felston posting a third place showing, the shot put,
Katya Hoover, fourth, and long jump, where
Alexis Hubbard was fifth.

UP NEXT
The Hornets are back on the track for the annual ODAC Indoor Championships Feb. 25 at Roanoke College.
