HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Shenandoah University men's tennis team won its second straight match of spring break Tuesday afternoon with a 6-3 non-league win over the College of Wooster (Ohio).

Shenandoah (2-3) took a 2-1 lead after doubles and clinched with wins over the Scots at Nos. 1, 2, and 4 singles.

Wooster opened with an 8-2 victory at No. 3 doubles, but it would be the last lead the Scots would have on the afternoon.

Just a minute after that match at No. 3 finished,
Jovan Cirkovic and
Artem Babaiev walked off the court with an 8-2 victory at No. 1.

Fourteen minutes later, the Hornets had the lead thanks to a
Dominick Suwak and
Keith Orr 8-4 triumph at No. 2 doubles.

In singles, the matches at Nos. 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 all finished within an 11-minute span with Shenandoah winning at 1, 2, and 4 to clinch the victory. Babaiev had the match-clincher, winning 6-2, 6-1 over Alex Drewes at No. 2.

Suwak, playing at No. 3, had the lone three-set match of the afternoon. He was a 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3) winner over Shivam Dewan.

Cirkovic, Suwak and Orr joined Babaiev as double-winners.
