CARLISLE, Pa. – No. 3 Shenandoah had an outstanding day at the plate Wednesday in an 18-5 non-league baseball victory at Dickinson.
Shenandoah (21-2) broke the contest wide open with a six-spot in the third versus the Red Devils (12-6-1) and never looked back in running its winning streak to 11 games. SU had 20 hits in the contest with seven hitters having multiple-hit afternoons.

Designated hitter
Colby Martin, who finished 3 for 4 with six RBI and four runs scored, had the big blow in that six-run third with a bases loaded triple to make it 4-0. He also had a two-run home run in the seventh and a solo HR in the fourth.
After Dickinson cut the deficit in half with three runs in the bottom half of the third, the Hornets pulled away with three runs in the fourth, one in the sixth, three in the seventh, four in the eighth, and one in the ninth.
Michael Prosperi (1-0) tossed the initial 7.0 innings and allowed three runs on four hits and one walk against six strikeouts.
Matt House pitched the eighth and
Torrey Savoia the ninth to close out the contest. Horse struck out two and Savoia one.
Pearce Bucher had a game-high four hits with three RBI while
Frankie Ritter and
Gavin Horning both had three hits.
Kooper Anderson,
Haden Madagan, and
Tyler Blittersdorf all had two hits each with Anderson driving in three runs and
Ryan Clawson two.
Horning, who finished 3 for 4, drove in three runs and had a pair of doubles.
