WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's tennis team ran its winning streak to eight matches Saturday with a 6-3 ODAC victory over Virginia Wesleyan.
Shenandoah (8-3, 4-1 ODAC) led 2-1 after doubles and then won the top four singles matches to dispatch the Marlins (6-5, 3-2) for the first time since joining the league for the 2012-13 season.

Keith Orr were all double winners for the Hornets.
Cirkovic and Babaiev combined to win 8-5 at No. 1 doubles with Orr and Suwak teaming up to win, 8-2 at No. 2.
In singles, Babaiev was a 6-4, 6-2 winner at No. 1 and Cirkovic 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2. Suwak had the match-clinching victory, winning 6-1, 6-7, 6-2 at No. 2 with Orr winning, 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 at No. 4 in the final match of the day.
OF NOTE
Prior to Saturday's win, the Hornets had never won more than three matches versus the Marlins and had lost 10 straight contests dating back to Mar. 13, 2013. The individual wins today for SU were the first for the program since Mar. 17, 2018.
