WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah Wrestling team was back on the mat Thursday evening with a conference dual with Washington and Lee. The Generals (9-3, 3-0 ODAC) defeated the Hornets (1-5, 0-3 ODAC) by a score of 44-6. The Hornets picked up a win from first-year
Cannon Long in the 157-weight class. Trailing early in the match, Long was able to earn a takedown which he cashed into picking up the victory by fall at 2:31 mark.
The Generals earned four wins via tech fall, three wins by major decision, and a win via fall and forfeit.
