BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Shenandoah University women's basketball team secured a statement victory Wednesday evening, defeating top-seeded Bridgewater College 53-41 on the road. The Eagles, previously undefeated in conference play and receiving national votes, suffered their first ODAC loss at the hands of the Hornets.
Shenandoah (12-6, 8-3) was once again led by Terese Greene, who recorded a game-high 25 points on an efficient 9-of-13 shooting from the floor, including 2-of-4 from beyond the arc and 5-of-8 from the free-throw line. With her fifth point of the game, Greene moved into second place on Shenandoah's all-time scoring list. Maddie Kimble, who is now the leader in games played for women's basketball, also delivered a strong performance, contributing 18 points on 5-of-14 shooting, 3-of-9 from three-point range, and a perfect 5-of-5 from the line. Kimble's defensive presence was crucial, as she tallied five steals.

Emily Williams led the Hornets on the boards with nine rebounds, including four offensive rebounds that helped extend possessions.
