Women's Golf Finishes Chick-fil-A Invitational in Twelfth

ROME, Ga. - The Shenandoah University women's golf team concluded its fall portion of the 2025-26 season on Monday and Tuesday at the Chick-fil-A Invitational, hosted by Berry College, scoring a 681 (+97).

The Hornets recorded a 356 (+64) in round one and improved by 31 strokes for a second round score of 325 (+33).

Manon Branfaux shot an 87 (+14) on Monday and followed it up with an 80 (+7) performance on Tuesday with 13 pars during round two. Gabby Frick finished the tournament one stroke behind Branfaux, with a 90 (+17) in round one and a 78 (+5) in round two, with a birdie on hole four in the second round.

Cierra Bigelow made a birdie on hole eight during her first round, finishing that round with a 90 (+17). In round two, the first-year recorded at least five consecutive pars twice for a 10 stroke improvement, finishing the round with an 80 (+7).

Erica Laurentino completed the first round with an 89 (+16) and then had an 87 (+14) in the second round. Her two-round performance was highlighted by a birdie on the par-three hole four in the first round.

Sophia Hansen had three birdies throughout the entire tournament, with birdies on holes 13 and 18 in the first round and another one at hole three during the second round. Hansen carded a 90 (+17) on day one and finished one stroke better on day two.

Amanda Dasher finished the first round with a 99 (+26), followed by a 104 (+31) in round two.

Shenandoah begins its spring season on March 9-10 for The Savannah Invitational, hosted by Berry.
