Women's Golf Stays in Seventh at ODAC Championship

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's golf team remains in seventh place at the 2026 ODAC Championship, carding a 337 (+44) as a team on Monday, which was an improvement of 28 strokes from yesterday. The Hornets have a total of 702 (+126) through the first two rounds of the tournament, as Randolph-Macon now leads the way, flipping spots with Washington and Lee University.

Gaby Frick scored an 81 (+9) on Monday, moving her up five spots on the leaderboard, where she now sits in 26th. Frick strung together five pars on the front nine and added four more on the back as she avoided any scores of double bogey or worse.

Cierra Bigelow also moved up five spots with an 81 (+9) for the second round. Bigelow made the first birdie of the tournament for the Hornets with one on hole five, while also starting the back nine with four straight pars.

Amanda Dasher contributed to the team score with an 85 (+13) on Monday, moving her into a tie for 35th. The junior made a birdie on the par-three hole eight and put one more on the scorecard with another one on the par-five hole 14.

Alexa Strohman is in 34th after day two, following a 90 (+18) on Monday. Strohman put together a 46 on the front half of the course and improved by two strokes on the latter half, thanks to a birdie on hole 13.

Sophia Hansen recorded a 95 (+23) for the second round and is also tied for 35th along with Dasher. Hansen started her round with a par on the first hole and added two more throughout the day.

Shenandoah concludes its season with the final round of the ODAC Championship, which starts tomorrow morning.
